4G network launched in Baku
The mobile operator of Azerbaijan Azercell Telecom LLC has announced the launch of fourth generation (4G) mobile communication network (LTE-Long Term Evolution) in Baku.
Speaking at the event held on this occasion, Azercell President Ali Agan said the technology is not widely used in the world. Thus, at present the technology is applied in 37 countries, including 9 European countries.
