6. Internet
Because of the development of Internet and arrival of new services given by different web-resource, there are a lot of Customers using PC for who the speed of transference of data possible by usual modem connection is not enough. If You are one of them, then optimal variant for You is ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) technology. The word “asymmetric” means the difference of speeds in both directions: to subscriber and vice versa, i.e. if data can be transferred from subscriber’s computer with speed from 32 Kb/sec to 1 Mb/sec, then in inverse direction (from the network to computer) this speed may reach 8 Mb/sec. This is very convenient, because usually the amount of information loading from the network to computer several times exceeds the amount of information transferring from computer to the network (for example, if you watch TV program in the Internet). It should be marked that speed of transference of data depends on length and quality of telephone line. Besides of this, because of the division of frequencies in channels of transference by ADSL technology, the phone which is on the same line by which data are transferred, is always free and You are able to speak by it even if You are connected to the Internet.
The price-list for ADSL services is offered below:
