UN expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani President for successful holding of IGF forum

UN Under-Secretary Wu Hongbo sent a letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on successful holding of the VII Internet Governance Forum (IGF).

 Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev was born on December 24, 1961, in Baku.In 1977, he entered the Moscow State University of International Relations (MSUIR).In 1982, upon his graduation, Mr. Aliyev had continued his education as a postgraduate student in MSUIR. In 1985, he finalized his research works and received a PhD degree in history. During the years of 1985-1990, he gave lectures at the Moscow State University of International Relations.  On December 17, President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the experimental-research factory of the Ministry of Defense Industry after major overhaul.The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the formal inauguration of the enterprise. Then, the Head of State put flowers at Heydar Aliyev’s monument erected in the yard of the factory.
