MCIT holds discussions on implementation of digital TV broadcasting
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) held extensive discussions on the work done in the introduction of digital TV broadcasting in DVB-T format in the country on April 14. The heads of concerned associations and enterprises were involved in the discussions.

Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) held a meeting with an Austrian delegation led by Andreas Reinhard, Deputy Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Valizadeh informed the guests about the measures implemented in the country in the sector of information and communication technologies under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

Windows Vista mainstream support ends
Microsoft beginning today is suspending the mainstream support period for operating system Windows Vista, during which all the users received free product updates.
A day earlier the company also stopped the support for Office 2007,Digit reports.
Form now onwards users of these products will be able to get only free updates that address serious issues related to security of applications.
