Communications and IT Minister visits ADA
Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov visited the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA).
Minister exchanged views on the future activity of the academy and professions at the meeting with ADA rector Hafiz Pashayev, and stressed the importance of training personnel in such disciplines as international relations, business management, engineering and information technologies.

396 projects have been registered in the republican contest “Electronic Education”, organized by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan.

Winners of Republican Olympiad on informatics announced
Final stage of the Republican Olympiad on informatics among university students, dedicated to 17 May - World Telecommunication and Information Society Day took place on April 29, 2012. The Olympiad is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT), Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Education and the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.
Note that 45 teams from 15 universities of the country participated at the first stage of the Olympiad, which was held for the seventh time. According to results of the first stage, 12 teams from 4 higher educational establishments acquired right to participate in the final.
